Last night, Cameron and I started our first real home renovation project. We tore out the old nasty carpet in the bathroom. Who puts CARPET in the BATHROOM??! So we yanked it out. Now we have to do some work to the floor before we can lay tile, and redo to walls... we pulled the baseboards out and it pulled some of the paper layer of drywall out  - to sum it up, its going to be quite a little project. But at least I dont have stupid carpet in the bathroom now!

I cant wait for today to be over. I have to clean the house this weekend (I have company coming!) and go grocery shopping and all sorts of stuff I am behind on. PLUS I have a wine tasting to go to (paid 50 bucks for!) with a whole grooup of people, so that will be fun. No Cameron, though. I am really looking forward to a time when we can actually have a NORMAL schedule together.

Props to my chio fam - I hear there are 26 awesome girls to pick a new member from! Have fun with that Michelle!

Ok, back to work. I hate Fridays because I just want it to be over! haha. Have a good Homecoming weekend!

It feels like Friday. It needs to be Friday. I'm needing the weekend- this week has been crazy!

Last night we had a friend over that's going to help us finish our basement. We're going to drywall in a big area for a TV/couch/bar area.... With our friends help, we should be able to do it cheap enough that we can afford a huge flat screen to mount on the wall and some kick butt surround sound. We're pretty excited :) I want it done before the Superbowl - hehe.

This weekend should be decent- Cameron is racing autocross as long as the weather stays decent... that means I get to ride along! Woohoo ! That's about it... nothing else exciting here.

Footprints

Ok, so I just discovered "footprints"... I know, I'm behind the times. But I can see who has been reading my blog and there is someone from France and someone from California... ok, who are you? This footprint thing is kind of scary... because now I know everyone can see when I get bored and read up on them, and maybe I don't want to see who is (or isn't!!) reading my blog.

New Layout

I was in need of a new layout... you like? Gave me something to do on my way to finding motivation this morning. It's tough after a 3 day weekend!! It was an awesome weekend, though. Couldn't have asked for better (well, maybe seeing Cameron more than 2 hours, but it's not like I won't be spending the rest of my days with him- ack that sounds scary! ;) )

Shopping yesterday was successful!! Amy and I trekked to Champaign and I got: a dress, shorts, 2 cute shirts, and 5 pairs of unmentionables from my favorite store New York and Company. All for $60! Plus, we went to David's Bridal and I made her try on all the bridesmaid dresses I liked :) Hehe. Fun times.

Man, I ran hard yesterday and my legs are aching. I probably need a long slow run today to recover... why can't my stupid swimmer body just let me RUN??
